There’s a button in instances that says “email login”. Could you explain what this is?

When you create a multiuser application, by default, a user for your application will log in with their username and password. Please see the image below.
If you make the Email Login switch true, instead of a user for your application using their username and password to log in, they will use their email and password. Please see the image below.
