# Opening PDF produces blank screen and crashes Five

I attached a PDF, but when I try to open it just opens a blank screen, and my entire Five screen also goes blank, and I have to relaunch the app.

Hi sfpatterson,
Do you have a sample app to show us your configuration? If you want to export your app into an fdf file, you could send it to me and I’ll have a look for you. If you prefer not to attach it to the forum, I can send you an email and you can reply via that. I just need a bit more information to understand what is happening.
