Hello Five team.

It would be nice to have five.showMessage(message) providing a parameter to hide the OK button.

This kind of message could be used to inform the user while a long process is executing. The user should not be able to close the dialog by clicking an OK button.

Thank you!

Jean

Hi Jean,

Thank you for your suggestion.

I will notify the team about making the ‘OK’ button optional.

As an alternative solution, you could create a custom function in JavaScript and CSS to display a message that fades away after a few seconds.

Regards,

Elton S

Yes, I just realized that I can use the JavaScript function ‘window.open()’ to pop up a waiting message. Thanks!
