Hello! I appreciate that in version 3.0 it is now possible to sort a Data View by a column containing a button. Version 2.9 didn’t allow sorting on these columns. However, I am facing an issue. When I create a new field with a function assigned to its “On Click” event, the button displays the field’s Caption instead of its actual value. This occurs whether the Display Type is set to `_Text` or `_Button`. Hi Jean, I have retested it; it seems ok on my end: The field: **Sale.CustomerName** has its display type as ‘ **\_Text** ’, and because it has data from the query (dynamic data), it displays the value from the query, not from the Title. The same happens for the field **Sale.TotalSale** , which displays the values **60, 50** and **30**. ![image](https://canada1.discourse-cdn.com/flex030/uploads/five/original/2X/d/d196f59ffbcbb187bae598ca79e1c940574873ce.png) However, when you set it as a button, it will take the value from the title by default. Could you try deleting this field and re-adding it to the data view, or, even better, send me a sample of your appliation/settings so I can test on my end.
